StandYourSound is a platform and DIY label that I set up in 2008 for the sake of hosting my own bands and projects, specifically Gompa. It has since developed into a conglomeration of artists, projects, bands, recordings and other noisy shenanigans that I have in some way worked with.

I’ve been writing and recording music since the mid 90s, back in the day when there was only Logic 1.1, DATs were cool and Grunge, oh holy Grunge, was everywhere. As was cheap Euro-disco, soon to be followed by boybands. And then girlbands.
I’ve never had the patience, brains or skills to become an engineer or full-on studio tech. I can only work with music one way: very, very quickly and thoroughly! Hence, my own unsigned, unregistered ‘label’ or rather platform StandYourSound! ©

Although we do not currently have the facilities to record bands, we do production and mixing. I worked as a co-producer in a major studio in Stockholm between 2005 and 2008 and have been involved in all kinds of production work since then.
